After packing, I went down for breakfast and stayed in the hotel to read after checking out.
Before leaving, a group photo was taken with everyone.
In order: me, Kris, Natassa, Mamma Paola
At half past one I walked to the port to the ferry that departed at half past two. The same ferry as the one I came with.
In Athens, I was greeted by a city heat of 39 degrees Celsius, which makes you feel even hotter. I got on the metro, which had no air conditioning, and on the way to the hotel, I told myself that if there was a plane from Athens to Budapest the next day, I would rather do the remaining part of the trip, Argos – Mycenae – Tiryns – Sparta – Mystras – Zakynthos, another time. The weather forecast for almost the entire Peloponnese peninsula was above 37 degrees Celsius, without the heroic wind of Mykonos.
I booked my flight in the hotel room for the next morning. The hotel had a pool and a bar on the top floor, with an almost full view of the city.
