Castelo de S Jorge

Where are we now?

On the first really nice day, I walked to the castle, which is most worth going up because of the view. The line meandering at the entrance was a little daunting, but it was moving fast. The castle is open, with only a café and a museum inside. Inside, it resembles the Maltese San Anton Garden a bit: you can walk on similar fragmented stone slabs. There are fewer flowers, but more peacocks.

Peacock roosters sit mostly on the trees and sometimes scurry each other, while the girls snuggle pretzels in the cafe.
