The Botanical Garden of the University of Lisbon is 140 years old and 40,000 square meters. Unfortunately, one part was just closed due to renovations. The pictures speak for themselves, there is not much to add 🙂
Fate brought it so that a total of four of my friends (two couples: Eszter / András and Illus / Péter) were also tourists in the city. So five of us were already walking, sitting on a “funicular”, which is actually a very sloping tram 🙂

My second day was quiet and calm. The sun wasn’t shining, the weather was gloomy, and I was only walking the surrounding little streets northeast of the hostel.
As I wrote, I traveled with only a backpack. Based on preliminary readings, I have selected a backpack that can theoretically be carried at any European airline at no extra charge. That’s true.
