Returning to England after almost two decades away was like opening an old photo album – familiar scenes, familiar atmospheres, but with different eyes. I spent four days travelling the south coast, revisiting familiar places and discovering new ones: the early morning calm of Brighton’s seaside, the raw limestone arches of Lulworth Cove, the quiet corners of Southampton and the windswept paths of Hengistbury Head.
