I slept well, so I got up early and was ready to go at 8 am.
I went into town for a hearty breakfast and to buy some presents. I went through the small streets because I had never been there before. The bells ring back and forth in the city, sometimes at 7:26, sometimes at 8:08. I found a church where mass was being celebrated and the priest was marching up and down with his censer like a cartoon character.

The first bus left at 11:30am and arrived in Ioannina at 1:45pm.
At 2:15 p.m., the second bus had already gone on to the port city of Igiumenitsa. Both bus rides were comfortable and didn’t seem that long.
