I started the day by buying a train ticket to Meteorka. The only railway station reminds one of the worst period of the Southern Railway Station in Budapest
Turning right from the cash registers, mass was going on in a small built-in chapel, where people were standing in line, waiting to kissing the same two points (the hands) on the holy icons, regardless of the COVID era.
- If you pray properly, the train will start
- A little 70’s feeling
Walking through the city center, I looked at a few more churches, where the same mass was held, with the same hand-kissing.
- A bit of a Wes Anderson vibe
- They also move across the balcony like the Maltese
- The previous church from the back
- In the churchyard…
- In the churchyard…
- At the end of the street is the White Tower
