Porto

Where are we now?

We arrived at the last stop in Portugal, the second largest city in the country, Porto. Although the city has a population of only 240,000, including the suburbs and other surrounding areas, it is already 1.8 million.
The location and layout of the city is very similar to Lisbon: Although the main roads to the river run south from the city center, bridges lead to the southern areas. There are a little fewer highlight here, in fact the whole city can be explored in a weekend. The city is smaller, narrower than Lisbon, spiced with a little Italian vibe.

The most famous modern building in the city is Casa da Musica, which I wanted to see live, because the branding of the building was inspired from the shape of the building itself, and I love this work (video about it here)

The garden of the Crystal Palace, which was slightly dingy, and the view to the west from there is above. In the distance (6km) is the ocean.

This is at the southern point of the bridge the monastery of The Serra do Pilar, which began to be built in 1537. When I was there, there was a wedding inside.
