Hell???

Where are we now?

The place I came here bears the incomprehensible name of “Miradouro da Boca do Inferno”, which can be translated as “Lookout from the Mouth of Hell.” One only wonders about this because it is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
It all started with me already starting to get tired of the desolation of Malta, where in 8 months of the year one only sees cactus and yellow rocks and there is no decent forest or lake. Sure, there’s the beautiful sea, but the blue horizon gets a little dull after 3 years.

And then somehow, I don’t remember how, but I found this picture on the internet:

And then I decided to come here, I want to take a photo like that too. From the Azores  I knew as much before leaving as I did about Malta…

You can then reach the lookout, where of course there are “many” tourists.

But with a little patience you can take a picture where there are no tourists.
